Acrostic poem by Libby and Ross

Soldier Dog by Sam Angus

Stanley was a young boy,

Often afraid of his dad,

Longing for his brother Tom,

Dogs were a part of Stanley’s life,

In the army and at home,

Even though all dogs were his best friend,

Rockets puppy soldier was best of all,

Da hated cross breeds,

Only Rocket was pure,

Gypsy dogs no thankyou, to be drowned, to be drowned.

By Libby Oakes and Ross Drummond.
